Born on Tuesday 12/08/58 at noon, My great grandparents hailed from the sacred land of Andhra Pradesh, in the district of Vijayanagaram, who
settled to Mauritius in the year 1805 A.D. Being myself born and grew in Mauritius and I am 41 years old. I came to study Telugu from books only. My teacher is Shri Seemadree Vanapilli Nursimulu of Le Hochet , Terre Rouge who runs a TELUGU press with a monthly multi lingual TELUGU magazine.

I joined the Government Teachers' Training College where I was trained to become a TELUGU teacher in 1978. I gather experience in teaching TELUGU. There are 200 Govt schools where Telugu is being taught with 125 TELUGU teachers. Attended the 2nd World Telugu Teachers' Conference at the Andhra University where I presented a paper on the present situation ofthe teaching of Telugu in Mauritius. I also attended
the 2nd World Telugu Federation at Lalita Kala toranam, Hyderabad where on behalf of the 20 delegates from Mauritius I presented a paper on the problems that we are facing and that intense love that we have to propagate this very rich language & culture.I am an active member of the advisory board of Mauritius Andhra Maha Sabha Educational Committee. I am also the person responsible for the Telugu section at the Mauritius College of the Air. I am responsible for the conceptualisation, script writing, production of audio & video Educational TELUGU programs which are regularly broadcasted on the TV
during Learning channel.
